LARGE VOLUME ALUMINUM CASTINGS ARE MACHINED AS CAST AND THEN LEAK TESTED AT 5.0 PSIG

The critical aspect of this application is that Mass flow testing is a superior method for large volumes as it provides a direct measurement of the leak and is engineered to be insensitive to part volumes through IDC unique quick pass testing which accelerates accept/reject decisions.

The InterTech M1075y mass flow leak detector controls a test cycle where the main part cavity is tested to a 10sccm limit at 5.0 psig at a rate of 60 parts per hour. Accepted parts are automatically marked.
